Overview
Spirit Colorado launched in June 2025 with two major events: the Spirit VIP Dinner and the Spirit Festival in Denver’s RiNo District. As Senior Graphic Designer for Volunteers of America Colorado, I created the full visual identity, event signage, and digital campaign that tied both experiences into one cohesive story.
Challenge
The goal was to build a single brand that could elevate a formal dinner while also energizing a large outdoor festival. The design needed to feel elegant, approachable, and consistent across digital, print, and environmental applications, all while introducing a brand-new fundraising event for VOA Colorado.
Solution
I designed a bold, circular logo inspired by Colorado’s landscape, combining the sun, pines, and mountains with a nod to wine and food through the bottle silhouette. The mountain forms were created from the inverted “V” in Volunteers of America Colorado, symbolizing connection and creativity drawn from the organization itself. A flat, earthy color palette kept the system flexible across signage, print, and digital applications.

Impact
Together, the two events raised more than $67,000, including $11,000 through the Media Challenge competition. Spirit Colorado drew over 700 guests, strong media coverage, and enthusiastic community participation, turning VOA Colorado’s first-ever wine and food festival into a signature event with lasting impact.
